Why bang your head against the wall?
Sometimes we make mistakes that make us want to bang our head against the wall.
Why?
Sometimes we want to bury ourselves in the ground. Why?
Why do we want to inflict pain on ourselves? Is it really ourselves?
When you see a person bang his head against the wall, you may think that an invisible force made him do so.
When we are in “good terms” with ourselves, we don’t dare act in such a “crazy” way, but when we are upset or disappointed by our actions or the results of them, we want to beat the body that carries the action.
Again, Why?
The answer to this is the understanding that we are a mix of body (lower) and soul (higher). Both have consciousness and impact on our actions. When something fails, it is always the lower consciousness that influence the decision. The soul become “upset” with the lower level and want to punish it. The soul doesn’t want to be partner with such “failure” and tries to break out.
The pain is the protection of the life force to keep the partnership together as they must continue together to the end.
The soul doesn’t like to be trapped with the limited body and it’s selfish consciousness.
In extreme situation a sensitive soul drives the person to kill himself so the soul will be released. The term “tormented soul” is accurate to a person that kills himself.
The other extreme is when a very weak soul is dominated by lower (body) consciousness, goes and blames others for their failure. He can get extremely violent. We hear of those who take a gun and go on a killing spree. They blame everyone else except themselves.
We need to find the balance between the earthly desires, the personal responsibility and the soul’s mission in life.
Most of us are using the GPS to take us to our desired destination. If we miss a turn, the GPS doesn’t tell you “Idiot… you missed your turn, accelerate to the next wall and smash your car…” It just announces “Recalculating…” and recommends another way to continue our way to the final destination.
This is how we should treat failures, pause, recalculate and continue.
Good luck on your trip. Don’t leave home without your soul.

Dear Zion;
This meant a lot to me. I hope I can help others with this concept. It is valuable.
Dear Zion,
first of all thank you for having the desire to share. You have answered a few questions I had. I now understand more what it means to know the difference between a weak soul, a sensitive soul, and its constanst battle with matter (our body)
To all who may read this comment. I wish all lots of light and love in your lives, and may you find your own voice within the chorus.

Dear Zion,
this has helped me alot. but my problem can not be helped with find a differnt way of handlying it, this goes for everyone in my class. we all are having thesame issue, and we just want to bang are heads on the wall from anger and stress. I will try and have them find a differnt way around our problems but i dont know if we can. wish me luck.
Dear Rebecca,
If the issue IS related to more people then bring them together and ‘Recalculate’. There is always a positive way out of a stressful situation.
Bringing the ‘light’ in makes ‘darkness’ disappear UNCONDITIONALLY.
OR
If you make the ‘right turn’, you can never be wrong.
Best wishes and Good luck.
Dear Zion,
Thank you. I have been struggling with my emotions as of late and just happened to type in google what I’ve been doing to myself (banging my head on stuff). Its not something I usually do even if I’m really stressed and I ended up worrying myself. I didn’t tell anyone… I’m introverted by nature but I knew I had to get some wisdom. Really, thank you, you helped me a great deal. Have a blessed life.
Dear Zion,
Thank you for this article, it was really helpful!
Kindest Regards, Lou
I appreciate the ideas in this comment. Do you think we learn to ferociously hate ourselves from failing others? Family can bring on dislike of one individual when they fail to do what they are told in family relationships. I definitely failed, and therefor accepted some bad suggestions and comments from my sister and brother. I always wanted to be an angel and to right by others. Kingsley Amis writes that family always finds someone to make into a serf. One to beat down with overload opinions that cause one to hate the very core of ones core. I am partially blind forgive the writing. atk
Dear Annette, many people tend to put others down so they can enjoy the false feeling of being higher that person. The successful TV series are those comedies that ridicule and belittle others. We sit on the couch at home and watching it with pleasure because it makes us feel better than them.
I personally get disgust when they put a person in such state. We should look inside and take lift our soul by following the just path, treat each other with human dignity, even if they are challenged by some kind of limitation.
